CFO Selections Associate Named as Finalist for Seattle 2.0

Best Service Provider to Startups

Bellevue -- CFO Selections is proud to announce that  Pearl Chan has been selected as one of five finalists in the "Best Service Provider to Startups" category for this year's Seattle 2.0 awards.  Pearl joined CFO Selections in 2008 after more than 20 years of experience as a financial manager in a series of rapidly growing firms.  At CFO Selections she has served as Chief Financial Officer for over a dozen companies including Cheezburger Network and Banyan Branch.  Most recently, she was the CFO at Picnik, helping with financial strategy and operations through its acquisition by Google in March 2010.  Ben Huh, leader and "Chief Cheezburger" at Cheezburger Network, noted that "Without solid financials, there is no business. About Seattle 2.0 and the Awards
Seattle 2.0 is a networking organization run for and by the startup community in Seattle.  Since 2007, its blogs and events have brought together entrepreneurs, investors, advisors, and consultants to learn to grow great companies.  The Seattle 2.0 awards accept initial nominations from the public; there were nearly 7,000 this year.  Five finalists were then chosen in each of the 11 categories by a panel of 36 Seattle 2.0 members, all with experience in or with entrepreneurial companies.

The winners are chosen in each category by a pubic vote, one vote per email address.  The listing of all the finalists, and the link to vote, are available on the Seattle 2.0 website.
