CFO Selections Honored for Corporate Giving
Company Named by PSBJ and the Seattle Foundation as "Corporate Champion"
in Giving to Basic Needs
Bellevue, WA -- CFO Selections is pleased to announce it has been chosen by the Puget Sound Business Journal, in partnership with the Seattle Foundation, to receive the 2010 Healthy Community Corporate Champion Award in the area of "basic needs."
The Healthy Community model is a framework developed by the Seattle Foundation to express the essential elements of a thriving community and focus on the places where philanthropy can have the greatest impact. The foundation believes that a healthy community can be achieved when all these elements work together: arts and culture, basic needs, education, economy, environment, neighborhoods ad communities, and health and wellness.
Tom Varga, Mark Tranter, and Rich Leo, partners at CFO Selections and founders of the CFOS Foundation, wish to thank all the company's associates for their ongoing support. "I am proud to be associated with such an exemplary group of professionals," Varga said. "Without them it would be impossible for us to donate the hours and cash contributions to these organizations that work to improve lives in the communities where we all live and work."
