Alex de Soto added to Search Practice as Senior Executive Recruiter

BELLEVUE, WA – Alex de Soto, former Vice President Finance & Administration for AcousTx Corporation has joined the CFO Selections team in Bellevue, WA as a Senior Executive Recruiter. Alex's professional career spans more than 25 years in human resources, recruiting, finance, accounting, operations and audit a wide range of industries.

Alex de Soto joins CFO Selections after being the Vice President Finance & Administration for AcousTx Corporation, an ultrasound company that was performing contract research for the United States Army during his employment with the company. After spending 8 years with Coopers & Lybrand in their Seattle and London offices, Alex has spent the last 14 years as a member of or advisor to numerous executive management teams in the Puget Sound area. He has been a CFO of a small publicly traded biotech company, the Financial Planning Manager and Compensation Manager for Premera Blue Cross, and the primary leader of finance and recruiting activities for two ultrasound start-up companies. He has also been a consultant to members of the executive management teams of Casey Family Programs, Pacific Edge Software, Rivals.com, and Housing Resources Group.

Since 1999 he has lead the recruiting function for Pacific Edge Software, Therus Corporation and AcousTx Corporation where he has personally filled over 100 positions for these Puget Sound based technology companies. As a recruiter for CFO Selections, Alex combines his skills as a recruiter with his hands on knowledge of the skills and experience needed for CFO's and Controllers to be successful as a member of a company's executive management team.

Alex has a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Southern California. He and his wife Lynn Schilaty, live in Snohomish with their three children, Emma, Ethan and Eli
