Wendy Bilbruck
Wendy Bilbruck joins CFO Selections with nearly 20 years of experience in the accounting field where she helped build accounting operations teams. She spent eight years working for a CD/DVD manufacturer in Kent, Washington. As a member of the management team, she was responsible for the entire accounting department, making sure all financial information was reported accurately by developing processes and providing training and support to her team.
Prior to this, Wendy held various accounting positions for two folding carton manufacturers, located in Tacoma and Renton. In these positions she focused on improving various cost controls which added to the success of the departments as well as the companies.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. They love to travel and are involved in many outdoor activities. Wendy is involved with helping her daughter show horses in competitions and volunteering at her son's school.
Alex de Soto
Alex de Soto, SPHR, joins CFO Selections from his successful tenure as the Vice President Finance & Administration for AcousTx Corporation, an ultrasound company then performing contract research for the United States Army.
After spending eight years with Coopers & Lybrand in their Seattle and London offices, Alex has spent the last fourteen years as a member of, or advisor to, numerous executive management teams in the Puget Sound area. He has been a CFO of a small publicly traded biotech company, the Financial Planning Manager and Compensaton Manager for Premera Blue Cross, and the primary leader of finance and recruiting activities for two ultrasound start-up companies. He has also been a consultant to members of the executive management teams of Casey Family Programs, Pacific Edge Software, Rivals.com, and Housing Resources Group.
Since 1999 he has lead the recruiting function for Pacific Edge Software, Therus Corporation, and AcousTx Corporation where he has personally filled over 100 positions for these Puget Sound based technology companies. At CFO Selections, Alex combines his skills as a recruiter with his hands-on knowledge of the skills and experience needed for CFOs and Controllers to be successful as a member of a company's executive management team.
Alex has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Southern California. He has held the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation since 2002. He and his wife Lynn Schilaty have three children: Emma, Ethan, and Eli.
Carol Forsberg
Carol Forsberg joins CFO Selections with a successful track record recruiting top talent for emerging growth and Fortune 100 companies since 1995. Prior to joining CFO Selections, she was a Partner with Paladin Partners, and before that she was a Director with The Brentwood Group, both retainer-based executive search firms where she conducted searches at the Director, Vice President, and Officer levels for Northwest technology companies.
Carol also spent four years as a top producer with a publicly traded international search firm and served as a Principal with the Huntington Group, a Connecticut-based executive search firm. There, she contributed to the company's national expansion efforts by developing a customer base on the West Coast.
As a recruiter, Carol brings her extensive experience in developing strong relationships and an ability to identify qualified candidates that fit both the client's professional requirements and their cultural values.
When she is not working on behalf of our clients, Carol enjoys scuba diving, fine wine, travel, and being entertained by her Papillons.
Jackie Knox
Jackie Knox joins CFO Selections after a long and successful career as an HR professional. Most recently, Jackie was the Senior Human Resources Manager for ArrowDisc in Kent Washington from 2001 to 2006, where as a member of the management team she was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources and Employee relations. While at ArrowDisc, Jackie developed the recruiting and hiring program which resulted in lower turnover, better production, and higher employee morale -- ultimately adding to the bottom line.
Prior to ArrowDisc, Jackie held HR positions for DMC Stratex Networks and Eagle Systems, both in Seattle. Among her accomplishment were:
Jackie graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) where she was the Membership Chair for the South King County Chapter for three years.
Jackie enjoys golfing, traveling, and gardening. She likes to spend time with her husband and son boating, playing games, and watching movies. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering at her son's school, for a children's charity, and anywhere else that she can.
