The Client
A Homeowners Association
The Challenge
The client was using QuickBooks Pro, but having difficulty because they were not able to automate a task that was highly repetitive and time intensive. In addition, they wanted some assistance with streamlining various other business processes and determining if they could stay with QuickBooks Pro or if they needed another accounting system.
The Solution
The CFOS QuickBooks Consulting team determined that QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions (QBES) could meet most of the client's requirements, and that the repetitive task could be easily automated using a third-party add-on that integrated seamlessly with QBES.
The team was able to assist the Association with streamlining their business processes, and setting up QBES to support their requirements. The team trained the Association's on-site Accounting Manager, and even were able to diagnose and resolve some long-standing computer network issues.
The Partnership
The CFOS QuickBooks Consulting team continues to provide ongoing quarterly reviews of the installation to ensure that any software issues and questions are dealt with in a timely manner.
In addition, because of their integration with the rest of the CFO Selections, the QuickBooks team was able to immediately provide the Association with an experienced controller to continue working with the Association's accounting staff on a part-time basis.

The Client
A Marine Technology and Fabrication Firm
The Challenge
The client was using multiple accounting systems in different business units, which caused ongoing difficulties with duplicate data entry, conflicting data, and producing accurate and timely management reporting.
The Solution
The QuickBooks consulting team worked with multiple divisions of the client firm to gather and document requirements. They were able to determine that QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions (QBES) could meet all of the client's needs, at less cost than they were currently paying. The team installed and configured QBES, and converted data from the client's existing systems using a combination of Intuit's standard conversion tools and some custom conversion programs. They were able to streamline some of the existing accounting processes, and replicated all the needed features and functionality of both of the older systems.
The Partnership
As the client's needs change, they are working with the QuickBooks consulting team to explore QBES add-on products to perform functions such as Field Service Management and Job Costing/Time Keeping.
