Tonny Oswald


    Tonny is an outcome-driven finance executive with over twenty years of leadership experience developing and executing actionable strategies for right-sizing operations, accelerating growth, driving down costs, and maximizing EBITDA within high-growth, turnaround, and startup environments. He is a dynamic cross-functional leader, collaborator, and executive advisor, with a strong “business partnering” mindset, who instills shared vision and purpose in alignment with robust business goals. He is an expert at analyzing corporate challenges, identifying deficiencies and opportunities, and implementing corrective actions integrating people, processes, and technology for driving continuous improvements and positive organizational change.

    Prior to joining CFO Selections, Tonny was the Senior Vice President of Finance at MediaNet Inc., a global B2B digital music services and rights platform. While there, he was responsible for helping turn around the underperforming organization and facilitating system and process integration into the parent organization. Tonny provided leadership for HR, tax, facilities, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, rights management, and cash management processes. Prior to MediaNet, Tonny was the CFO for 360Networks Corp, where he built a new finance, tax and accounting team to manage 10 subsidiaries with US and Canadian reporting requirements. His experience in forensic accounting led to the closure of a complex tax loss ($720M) transaction.  At a private equity backed postsecondary school group, he led the financial reorganization of multiple entities and the development of two new campuses as revenue grew from $20M to $60M in three years.

    Tonny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Washington, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, in addition to an Accounting Certificate, from Seattle University. Tonny and his wife live in Bellevue and enjoy cycling, hiking and family skiing.
