Marcia Myers

Marcia is a strategic-minded financial leader with over 20 years of experience in both non-profit and for-profit companies, primarily in commercial real estate and financial services. She is recognized for being perceptive and able to see things that others may not, and enjoys the puzzle of accounting along with forecasting, strategy work, and board engagement.

Prior to joining CFO Selections in 2024, Marcia served as CFO of MCE Social Capital, a global impact lender based in San Francisco and Barcelona. During her tenure, she brought their accounting in-house, envisioned and led an ERP technology conversion, and launched the company’s first-ever debt fund, which unleashed millions in fresh capital for lending in developing communities. She also developed a 5-year financial plan to achieve 70% growth in the loan portfolio while navigating the economic turbulence and banking crisis.

Marcia came up through the ranks in boutique commercial real estate companies in Denver starting at Sullivan Hayes Brokerage as a property accountant. After working her way up to Controller, she transitioned to financial services at Trust Company of America, later purchased by e*trade. Marcia spent several years as Controller of an FDIC and SEC regulated financial services company, overseeing the accounting department and achieving clean regulatory and financial audits each year. Rounding out her career, Marcia worked in public accounting and consulting for five years, serving in fractional Controller and CFO roles while also providing tax and accounting guidance to small business owners.

Marcia holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Regis University in Denver. She lives in Fort Collins and serves clients in the Denver Metro and along the Front Range. During her free time, she loves traveling and exploring with her teenage son, running, and getting creative.
