Joe is a highly skilled manager of complex operations with over thirty years of experience. He has a unique combination of administrative knowledge and analytical skills which enables him to identify potential problem areas and implement well-thought-out solutions. Joe has been recognized by colleagues for his ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
Most recently, Joe served as president of the marine engineering company Elliott Bay In this role, he oversaw day-to-day operations and pursued growth and improvement in all aspects of the business by refining the strategic plan and emphasizing a sense of community through treating others with respect and openly emphasizing core values. In 2009, Joe functioned as the company’s General Manager under corporate ownership and established strong relationships with the corporate office while integrating the various changes and communicating with employees. Prior to the corporate acquisition, as Finance Manager, Joe led the financial statement preparation, pension and benefits administration, IT supervision, facilities management, budget development, strategic planning, financial analysis, banking relations, and operations team. Earlier in his career, Joe managed the accounting departments for two large multi-specialty medical clinics in Seattle and Missoula.
Joe holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation and has been a long-time member of American Institute of CPA’s since earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in accounting from the University of Montana.
