Jon Spencer
Jon Spencer has forty years of experience in banking, accounting, and business operations in the Portland area. Following his time in public accounting, he has worked in various industries, including construction, healthcare, residential real estate, and property management, and most recently co-founded an office equipment sales and service company.
Before co-founding his company, Jon spent time working with companies as a CFO consultant, so joining CFO Selections will allow him to continue helping local companies with their higher-level accounting and operation needs.
Jon collaborates with companies to address their strategic focus and bigger picture requirements, as well as reviews and improves the inner workings of their accounting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. He is skilled at developing accounting staff to ensure the thorough understanding of their roles so they and the companies thrive.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Oregon State University, an MBA from Portland State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant in Oregon. Jon enjoys traveling with his family, biking, and hiking and is excited to start playing Pickleball.
