Robert Potter
Robert’s expertise in financial management includes strategic planning, forecasting/budgeting, financial information and metrics, and risk and cash management. Robert is passionate about providing leaders in the business with the understanding of the numbers they need to take the actions that will drive the business forward.
Robert also has extensive experience with financial management and lender relationships and has worked extensively over his career to negotiate funding that supported growth and elevated the financial strength and resiliency of organizations.
Robert brings a deep understanding of talent management to any workplace, building bench strength by hiring the right people and prioritizing mentorship and internal career development.
Prior to joining CFO Selections, Robert was CFO and COO at Kinco Gloves, where he was responsible for leading finance and accounting, operations, HR, IT, sourcing/logistics and customer service. He has prior experience in other businesses as controller, director of finance, general manager and director of manufacturing. Robert also has a background in turnaround consulting.
Robert holds an MBA with a major in Accounting from University of Oregon, as well as bachelor's degrees in German and in French from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt. Robert and his wife enjoy RVing, and spending time with their kids and grandkids. Robert is also a dedicated car enthusiast and racer and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.
