Christopher Bullock
A multi-faceted executive leader, Chris brings 26 years of diverse experience within the CPG, food, beverage, manufacturing, and distribution industries. Chris is a highly collaborative leader who has demonstrated success managing key finance, accounting, IT, and operations functions across family owned and publicly traded organizations. Chris thrives on helping companies analyze their current state of performance and adopt the strategies and people, process, and technology upgrades needed to scale for growth, improve efficiency, and maximize investor and shareholder returns. He has a long track record of partnering with CEO’s, Board’s, and management teams to help drive growth and mitigate risk. Chris also enjoys the challenge of mentoring finance teams on how to serve as indispensable business partners and providing the coaching needed to ensure their continued success and development.
Prior to joining CFO Selections, Chris held a series of progressive financial leadership positions at Oberto Brands, culminating in a CFO role. While at Oberto, Chris gained a vast amount of experience and expertise in buy-side and sell-side M&A, financial system implementations, banking relationship management and covenant compliance, and building high performance teams. Additionally, he acquired a wealth of world-class finance, accounting, and operating knowledge through a prior tenure with Kraft Foods. He provided hands-on financial support and guidance to his business partners and managed a wide array of budgeting, reporting, cash flow, and FP&A activities to support strategic decision-making. Chris also possesses early-career experience in sales and account management roles, arming him with superior communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into easily digestible terms for non-financial audiences.
Chris holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in Materials Logistics Management from Michigan State University. He lives in the Seattle area and enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, cooking on his BBQ smoker, and walking.
