Daniel Philipp

Daniel-PhilippDaniel has 25 years of experience in financial audit and senior leadership roles in several early-stage companies, including the inception of four start-up companies. These companies came from diverse industries including real estate, distribution, software, and consumer products manufacturing. Most recently, Daniel served as the CFO and spent the last twelve years building Sustainablu, a green, sustainable construction product company focusing on stormwater management solutions for urban development.

Daniel started his career in financial audit at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. He left public accounting to work on special projects at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company where he assisted in redesigning and implementing the framework for the Enterprise Risk Management process and reporting. After earning his MBA, Daniel followed an entrepreneurial path consulting with start-up companies and serving as a fractional CFO for several early-stage companies which remain successful in a growth trajectory today.

Daniel graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a Master’s in Business Administration and holds an active CPA license in the state of Wisconsin.  He is also conversationally proficient in Vietnamese.
