Janice McKenna
Janice McKenna is an experienced financial manager for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. She enjoys working with non-financial managers to help them understand their role in the business operations and works to educate them in reading financial data and extrapolating future business needs.
Janice has directed the accounting and finance departments of multiple organizations. As Market Controller for Entercom she managed a $100 million dollar division of the company responsible for AP, AR, GL, payroll, and internal and external reporting. She has created multiple forecasting models and acquisition models to determine feasibility of future operations and expansion options.
Janice began her career at Raytheon in Sudbury, Massachusetts, managing government-owned inventory, and creating pricing models for spare parts inventory. Janice worked at WGBH in Boston establishing new reporting, analyses and operations. She was also responsible for creating overhead rates for use in program proposals submitted to government agencies and acted as liaison with the government regulatory agency for oversight and audit. At WNEV-TV she created the initial budget and departmental reports for a new business, created when the previous owners lost their battle with the FCC to retain their license to operate the station. The station changed ownership and Janice was part of the new management team hired to run the station.
