Joe-PloufJoe is an accomplished financial executive with over 15 years of diverse experience. He has held senior management and board positions in non-profit organizations, managed a finance team in a Fortune 500 company, and worked as an audit manager at KPMG LLP. Joe's area of expertise lies in non-profit organizations, where he has excelled in roles as both Controller and CFO. His primary focus is helping non-profits achieve their mission goals while ensuring transparency and accountability in financial management.

In addition to his strong accounting and finance background, Joe has successfully overseen HR, Payroll, and IT functions. In his previous role as CFO at Full Life Care, he streamlined the accounting close process, reducing it from thirty business days to five. Joe also played a key role in supporting organizational restructuring, resulting in an annual net cash flow improvement of over $1.0M. At Bastyr University, as Controller, he oversaw a 35% revenue growth over a four-year period and effectively managed the accounting and financial aspects of opening a second campus in San Diego. Notably, he implemented an integrated capital purchasing system that seamlessly integrated with the existing general ledger and introduced enhanced financial reporting incorporating non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs).

Joe is a licensed CPA in Washington state, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Accounting) and a Master's Degree in Professional Accounting, Audit & Assurance Services, both from the University of Washington. He actively contributes to his community, serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors at Girls on the Run Puget Sound and as a Board Member at Roots Community School in Chelan, Washington. Joe resides in Chelan, WA, with his wife and two daughters, and enjoys golfing, boating, barbecuing, and appreciating fine wine during his leisure time.
