Victor Ross

Victor-RossVictor is an experienced and tenured financial leader who has been practicing for more than 35 years. He has been an active consultant for the past 15 years and has accumulated a wealth of knowledge in a number of industries, including ownership structures and companies that range from startups to multi-billion in size. A combination of both hard and soft skills has led to a successful consulting career. Energetic and intuitive, he understands complex issues and can quickly move between both tactical and strategic client needs as required. As a clear, concise, and effective communicator, he can convey important and timely financial information from a staff level up to executive management and the Board of Directors. He works hard to establish trust among all stakeholders and provides support where and when it’s required. 

His career began in public accounting, and he subsequently worked in manufacturing and professional services for many years before becoming a consultant. Consulting engagements have included manufacturing, professional services, transportation, high tech, banking, healthcare, and food processing. This encompassed for-profit and non-profit organizations in which he held the roles of either Controller or CFO. He has hands-on and management experience with all aspects of accounting including costing, payroll, treasury, cash management, budgeting/forecasting, financial statement preparation and systems.  With extensive experience with financial forecasting, he has built dynamic and robust forecasting models.  Victor is also experienced with bankruptcies and managed fresh start accounting for Federal Chapter 11 restructuring.   

Victor holds a CPA-Inactive in the State of Idaho and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science from Chaminade University of Honolulu. He is the Treasurer of the Critical Mass Big Band where he plays trumpet.  He is a licensed pilot and enjoys boating in the waters of Puget Sound.
