Mark Miller
Mark Miller is a CPA with over 25 years’ experience in the accounting world. His passion for forensic work, inventory accuracy, account analysis, attention to detail, and financial statement preparation has led to many successful ventures in public and private accounting, particularly in inventory-based companies.
Mark’s most recent position was with a local manufacturer where he created procedures to produce reliable financial information as well as accurate inventory counts and costs. Prior to that, Mark worked in the convenience store industry as well as the restaurant/hospitality industry where he led the implementation of a new ERP system.
Upon graduating from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, he moved swiftly into Public Accounting where he earned his CPA and managed the audit department for a small CPA firm. From there he worked in the Controller role for a variety of companies where he honed his inventory skills and gained a strong appreciation of the importance of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Mark has developed strong interpersonal skills with the teams he has worked with through communication and collaboration. His people skills are excellent, and he always raises the level of productivity on the teams he has led.
Mark enjoys many of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer such as skiing, whitewater rafting, camping, and hiking.
