Troy Duran
Troy is a strategic finance professional with over twenty years of experience positioning small companies and start-ups for growth and/or exit through FP&A, corporate development, forecasting, budgeting, analysis, corporate infrastructure development, board reporting, and KPI reporting. He’s a hands-on executive who leads from the front. He brings a tailored and unique approach to each company owing to his diverse experiences throughout his career in financial services, asset management, consumer product goods, cannabis/hemp, telecommunications, and media. Troy is a creative problem solver and consensus builder with proven success in strategy implementation, complex financial modeling, acquisition management, and efficiency and productivity attainment.
Prior to joining CFO Selections, Troy was the CFO and COO at Growth Leasing LLC, an alternative health consumer product goods company. He was responsible for finance, accounting, HR, corporate development, operations, production, packaging, manufacturing, and sales. Previously, he was the CFO at ALPS Holdings, a financial services company, responsible for finance, accounting, corporate development, and strategy.
Troy holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Denver. He also serves on the boards of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame and Crum Electric Supply. In his spare time, Troy enjoys traveling, live music, long walks, cooking, and spending time in the mountains with his wife, teenage twin daughters and dog, Ruby.
