Brenda Hodges
Brenda is a motivated and purpose-driven leader with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting in both for-profit and non-profit organizations, including philanthropy, multi-national corporations, public accounting, and real estate. Over the course of her career, Brenda has held the responsibility of financial management and strategic direction of the accounting, tax, budget, credit, audit, and treasury functions, as well as oversight of the operational activities including information systems, office administration and facilities management. As a financial executive, she has led teams through organizational change and modernized systems and partnerships to increase capacity and maximize connection to purpose.
Brenda chose a career in accounting and finance because she loves numbers and the stories that they tell. She is drawn to financial consulting because she enjoys the opportunity to work with a variety of organizations, people, and systems. As a fractional CFO, interim support, and project-based consultant, Brenda is highly motivated to help your organization navigate change and thrive.
Brenda is a CPA in the state of Oregon. She holds a post-baccalaureate certificate in Accounting from Portland State University and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and International Affairs. Brenda currently volunteers for the Girl Scouts of Oregon and SW Washington. When she is not working, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family (human and fur), hiking, and traveling.
