David Sparks
David brings over thirty years of experience in hands-on financial management, having directed accounting and finances for companies in the manufacturing, distribution, service, and nonprofit industries. Dedicated to the production of accurate, timely, and relevant information for decision makers at all levels of the organization, he is known for his holistic approach to mentoring in small start ups and Fortune 50 companies alike.
Before joining CFO Selections, David worked as the CFO of Springstar, Inc., a manufacturer of non-toxic and environmentally safe pest control products, where he installed an ERP system to enable inventory control, track work orders, and provide accurate product costing. Prior to Springstar, David owned a consulting firm for four years, offering accounting, consulting, and tax services to small businesses, startups, and nonprofits in north King and south Snohomish Counties.
David earned a Certificate in the Theory of Accountancy (equivalent to US Bachelor Degree) from the University of Cape Town.
