Karla Gulke
Karla is a seasoned financial professional who is a trusted business advisor in a wide variety of industries including real estate, professional services, non-profit, retail, food & beverage, hospitality, construction, property management, manufacturing, agriculture, and food processing.
After a few years at a local CPA firm, Karla established her own CPA practice specializing in accounting software selection and implementation, as well as controller and tax services. In this position, she worked closely with owners and accounting personnel and was responsible for all financial matters including AR, AP, inventory management, Bills of Material/Bills of Manufacturing, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, and cash management. Throughout her career, she has focused on all aspects of accounting, from transactions through analysis, forecasting and budgeting. She enjoys system design and loves to bring order to chaos.
With her varied background, Karla understands information needs at all levels of an organization and makes sure that proposed solutions consider all parties. While compromises are sometimes necessary to achieve an overall business goal, it is important to know how the choices made by management will affect all aspects of a business to design the best possible result with available resources.
Karla holds a B.A in Business from the University of Washington. She enjoys motorcycling with her husband, recreational vehicle trips, and occasionally geeking out on science topics.
