Joss Stokke

Joss serves a dual role in the CFO Selections family of brands: she is a Partner and Recruiting Services Leader with The ASP Team (ASP) for its contingent recruiting offering and works with Retained Executive Search clients for CFO Selections. She joined ASP in 2022, bringing with her over 6 years of experience in accounting and finance recruiting and financial services recruiting experience.  Her accounting recruiting experience was working for a Portland accounting recruiting firm and the financial services recruiting was filling positions based around the United States. Since joining the firm in 2022, Joss has placed all levels in an accounting department from staff level to senior management roles.

Joss’s prior 15-year accounting and finance career, with experience in tax, audit, SEC reporting, management reporting, investor relations, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, financial performance and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and valuations, makes her uniquely qualified in assisting both clients and candidates in filling accounting and finance positions.

Joss began her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young in Atlanta, Georgia. She worked there for six years before joining a Fortune 100 company where she held a variety of corporate accounting and finance roles, eventually growing into the Director of Finance. 

In 2009, she and her husband relocated for a job in Portland, Oregon, where he is originally from and where all his immediate and extended family live. Joss immediately fell in love with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and all the area has to offer, from the mountains to the coast to the vineyards and orchards; so many amazing hikes rewarded with great regional food and drink!
 
Joss holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in accounting/taxation from the University of South Carolina.
