They have a 59-year history of continuous sales growth and profitability and serve a growing industry at the forefront of addressing climate change with energy efficient inverter driven heat pump solutions for residential and commercial applications.
POSITION SUMMARY
This operationally oriented CFO position will be based in their Tacoma office and will report directly to Co-CEO’s and owners, Ryan Sadlier, and Scott Sadlier (sons of founder, John Sadlier). The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, cash management, financial reporting, audit preparation, 401K and insurance plans, and compliance. The CFO will also provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve their operational efficiency, profitability, and growth.
The CFO will inherit a well-organized accounting office and have one direct report, the controller, who oversees an accounting staff of five. Additionally, the new CFO will be charged with the responsibility to on-board a LEAN Certified process person to a new position within their organization within the first year. The Process Manager will remain the direct report of the CFO.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, MBA a plus.
- CPA and public accounting experience is desired, but not required.
- Experience as a CFO of a company operating in multiple locations, with hundreds of employees and hundreds of millions in revenue.
- Experience working in a distribution or wholesale environment.
- Operationally minded with a focus on process improvement and creating efficiencies to drive profitability and growth.
- Strong FP&A skills: developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and deep financial analysis at a granular level.
- Experience working with outside service providers such as CPA firms, outside legal counsel and bankers.
- Ability to work in person 5 days/week
