POSITION SUMMARY
The VP, Administration/CFO reports to the CEO and leads all facets of global Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, Administration, and Facilities efforts in support of the organizational mission to accelerate health equity. This position is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction, developing and implementing a multi-faceted strategy in these functional areas, as well as managing a cross-functional team. The VP, Administration/CFO serves as the primary leader supporting the CEO for strategies designed to ensure a robust organizational and financial structure to support the health and growth of the organization. This position is also the primary point of contact for the Board of Directors and its committees in relation to financial matters.
Base salary range for this position is $160k – $190k.
QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or similar field required; Advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Expertise in global HR and Accounting compliance and reporting. Experience in a global health organization is a plus.
- Experience with non-profit accounting (either as an employee or as a Board member)
- Experience managing the accounting department in an entity that has been audited by a CPA firm.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in establishing and managing relationships with external entities, such as accounting and law firms, financial institutions, and industry partners.
- Understanding of and being comfortable in working in a global work environment, with an emphasis on low and middle-income countries.
