Yana Kolesnikov
Yana is a finance and accounting executive based in Portland, Oregon, with more than 25 years of experience spanning public accounting, nonprofit organizations, and private companies. Her expertise includes financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, SaaS revenue recognition, strategic financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, and business systems implementation. Throughout her career, Yana has partnered with executive leadership teams to improve financial visibility, strengthen internal controls, streamline operations, and provide actionable insights that support growth and strategic decision-making.
Prior to joining CFO Selections, Yana served as Controller for Visiting Media and previously as Vice President of Finance at NWEA. Earlier in her career, she worked in public accounting, managing audit and tax engagements for governmental, nonprofit, and commercial clients. Her experience spans SaaS, technology, nonprofit, and professional services organizations, providing her with a broad perspective on the financial and operational challenges organizations face throughout various stages of growth.
Yana is a licensed CPA in Oregon and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Santa Clara University. She enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with family and dogs.
