Randy Moore
Randy is an accomplished financial professional with over 30 years of experience in industries including retail, service, distribution and nonprofit. These experiences give Randy a thorough understanding of purchasing protocols and inventory cycles, inventory turn analysis. He has a proven track record as a collaborative leader, with a focus on success in the financial and operational aspects of the companies that he’s collaborated with. His skills include financial reporting, GAAP accounting, financial analysis, internal control review, treasury, bank financing, budgeting, forecasting and financial projections. He also has extensive experience in leading and developing effective teams.
Randy started his career in public accounting, working six years in the industry. Public accounting provided extensive experience in attestation, tax, internal control analysis and assessment, and payroll services. Randy became an expert in treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, establishing and optimizing banking relationships for new or existing credit facilities, and asset-based lending and bank covenant requirements. While also working with four large national, local, and regional firms, Randy became proficient in Federal tax compliance, external audit processes and requirements.
Prior to working at CFO Selections, Randy served as a CFO for a large distribution service company headquartered in Portland, OR. He continued his career as CFO for the largest nonprofit air medical transport company in the United States until 2021. The broad and diverse experience as CFO has provided Randy with extensive experience in financial, operational, and strategic aspects of medium to large size companies.
Randy graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting. Randy is also a licensed and active CPA in the state of Oregon. In his spare time, Randy and his wife and children enjoy an active lifestyle snow skiing, boating, walking, pickleball, dirt bike riding along with several other activities.
