Dave Reeves

Dave-ReevesDave is a senior financial executive with over 25 years of experience primarily focused on early-stage and emerging growth technology companies. He possesses extensive experience in finance, accounting and administration implementing solutions to support enterprise goals. Dave began his career as an investment banker advising middle market companies on financing strategy and has been an executive or advisor in over 20 financing transactions totaling over $500 million.

From 2004 until 2024, Dave served as the General Manager and CFO of RAF Technology, a Redmond-based machine vision software company recently acquired by Constellation Software. At RAF, Dave directed the company’s strategy, developed business plans and board reporting packages, negotiated lines of credit, oversaw acquiror due diligence, and helped incubate and spin-off of two start-up companies: Alitheon, Inc. and Velox Robotics LLC. In 2017, Dave negotiated the sale of RAF to Matthews International Corporation (MATW), subsequently leading RAF’s integration into Matthews and managing the business unit until its sale to Constellation.

Prior to RAF, Dave was the CFO of Mindplay LLC, a start-up manufacturer of advanced-technology table games for the gambling industry, which was acquired by Bally Gaming in 2004. From 2001 to 2004, Dave was a fractional CFO at Tridia Partners, where he provided part-time and project-based consulting CFO services to early-stage technology companies. Dave also served as CFO of Wavtrace, Inc., a venture-backed start-up manufacturer of telecommunications equipment acquired by Harris Corporation in 2000. Earlier in his career, Dave was an investment banker at Wedbush Securities and an accountant at Arthur Andersen.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University. He resides in Kirkland, Washington, with his wife, and enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with his adult children.
