Laura DelVillar
Laura has over 25 years of experience in managing finance teams, holding positions ranging from Controller to Chief Financial Officer. Much of her experience has been in small businesses within the manufacturing sector; aerospace, food products, and assembly production. Additionally, she has worked in other industries including distribution and small nonprofit organizations. She has extensive experience with ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, and developing effective teams. Laura has a strong background in process/procedure analysis and problem solving.
Most recently, Laura worked as VP of Finance for Heatcon Composite Systems, Inc. where she mentored and developed the accounting team. Laura identified members from other departments to participate in a major ERP upgrade which was accomplished with extraordinarily successful results. She developed sophisticated budget processes for the company, including forecasting and sales management tools using Microsoft Dynamics CRM software. Laura has extensive experience in inventory costing and developing overhead analysis and allocations. Her additional responsibilities included managing the Human Resources and IT functions.
Prior to that Laura served as CFO for an aerospace manufacturer which held long term contracts with Boeing and related Tier 1 suppliers. Laura was responsible for finance and accounting for two out of state manufacturing locations/divisions. During her tenure there, the company acquired a division which supported growth goals, and she participated in the sale of a division. Laura has extensive experience working with Board members providing presentations for quarterly financial updates and budgets.
