Stan Prince
Stan is a multi-faceted executive leader, bringing over 35 years of diverse experience from financial controller and CFO roles in small companies to global supply chain and technology sourcing in fortune 100 companies. Stan is known for an exceptional blend of strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Stan excels in addressing pivotal purchasing, procurement, and distribution challenges across global operations. A former CFO, Stan integrates rigorous analytics and disciplined financial management into supply chain functions, driving efficiency and impactful change. Stan is also an exceptional people leader with the ability to maintain motivated teams during high demand and challenging environments. Stan enjoys mentoring and coaching teams and individuals to ensure their continued success and development.
Stan began his career as an Assistant Controller for a manufacturing company. During his tenure he built the team into a highly motivated and successful working group and eliminated staff turnover. From there he leveraged his experience into a Controller role for a services company where he overhauled the financial reporting system which improved operating margins. Stan then moved to a technology company as the Chief Financial Officer responsible for accounting, distribution, and administration. During this time Stan discovered he had a talent and interest for operations and distribution.
Stan’s interest in operations led him to a company that distributed $200MM+ of hardware technology to Microsoft. This role included responsibility for sales, supply chain, operations, and customer service. His accounting background benefitted the corporate team where he also took on responsibility of financial reporting for his operation and multiple peer organizations across the US. After 3 years in the role, he developed strong relationships with his customer, Microsoft, and was recruited and hired into a business, finance, and supply chain role focused on the new industry of Data Centers. Stan spent 15 years at Microsoft, where his role grew and expanded as the world of Data Centers and Cloud Computing changed the industry. Stan ended his professional career at Amazon where he inherited a small technology sourcing team and built it into a global organization that provided $1B+ of technology products to Amazon employees, including software, hardware and network contracts, hardware delivery, and procurement for corporate teams globally.
In 2021 Stan retired but in 2022 he volunteered and joined the board of a non-profit foodbank. Today he is board chairman and actively involved to help those that are food insecure in the Bellevue area.
Stan is a native Washingtonian, growing up in Tacoma, attending the University of Washington and settling in Woodinville with his family.
