Patrick Banasky
Patrick’s passion for finance started in high school where he was the CFO for a Junior Achievement project selling root beer floats and ice cream. He issued stock and kept all the ledgers.
Patrick then attended the University of Washington School of Business where he was a part of a national business consulting team representing the UW in a business case analysis and presentation competition. He competed against several colleges including University of Texas and Wharton Business School.
His professional career started at a Seattle consultancy, The Walter Group, where Patrick was placed in Mexico City to launch the first Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) in Mexico. He managed the valuation model and began supporting negotiations for rights of way and banking relationships.
Patrick grew his Financial Planning Analysis and Budgeting skills at AT&T Wireless, Starbucks, Phillips, Washington Mutual and Edelman with accomplishments including redesigning ERP systems and accounting procedures, improving profitability through contract negotiations with vendors and clients alike, and building financial tools for business partners to manage revenues and costs.
More recently, he was the CFO at Retail Lockbox Inc. Patrick led the entire operations strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, processes and launched departmental incentive plans resulting in the highest profit in the company’s 30+ year history.
In his personal time, Patrick enjoys spending time with family including his wife, two college-aged kids, and his two dogs.
