Tim Maierhofer
Tim Maierhofer is a seasoned operations and finance executive who partners with growth-oriented manufacturing, distribution and nonprofit businesses to strengthen financial leadership, optimize cash and working capital, and scale operations. With more than 30 years of hands‑on leadership across many industries, Tim brings a rare combination of financial and operations rigor, systems implementation experience, and years of continuous improvement implementation that drives middle‑market companies to accelerate value creation.
As a fractional CFO, Tim focuses on priorities that matter most to owners and CEOs: organizational alignment, clear financial visibility and forecasting, cash optimization, margin expansion, and disciplined budgeting and KPI governance. Tim helps firms stabilize finances, improve cash and margins, and build scalable finance functions that support the next phase of growth.
He is proficient in EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) integration, Lean manufacturing deployment, KPI and data‑warehouse reporting, and ERP systems implementations that help small and mid‑sized companies adopt larger company practices without the overhead of a full‑time CFO.
Academically, Tim holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Colorado and was a CPA in Colorado earlier in his career. Tim’s nonprofit and community experience includes a 4-year Board of Director and Treasurer engagement for a large non-profit soccer club where he oversaw a 300% expansion in membership and services.
Outside work he’s an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and golf.
