2025 Foundation Grantees

Each of the following organizations is making a measurable impact in the lives of foster youth and kinship families. We’re proud to support their work. Over the course of the year, we’ll introduce you to each of them.

  • Adoptee Mentoring Society (Seattle, WA) – Provides mentorship and community for adopted and former foster youth.
  • Fostering Hope Foundation (Colorado Springs, CO) – Supports foster families and children in care with holistic, wraparound services.
  • Route 21 (Seattle, WA) – Offers transitional support for young adults aging out of foster care, including housing, life skills, and mentorship.
  • Project 1.27 (Aurora, CO) – Equips faith communities to recruit and support foster and adoptive families.
  • Project Lemonade (Portland, OR) – Empowers youth impacted by foster care through back-to-school resources, internships, and confidence-building programs.
  • Treehouse (Seattle, WA) – Promotes educational equity and graduation success for youth in foster care.
  • Bridge Meadows (Portland, OR) – Builds intergenerational communities that support foster-to-adopt families and elders.
  • Family Education & Support Services (Restricted for the Kinship Care Program, Tumwater, WA) – Strengthens families through kinship care resources, education, and advocacy.

CFOS Foundation Approves Grants to 9 Nonprofit Organizations in 2024

The CFOS Foundation is proud to announce that nine grants have been awarded for 2024, totaling $200,000! We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside these outstanding organizations, empowering communities across the regions CFO Selections serves. Together, we are making a meaningful impact!

CFOS Foundation Approves Grants to 5 Non-profit Organizations in 2022

We're proud to announce the CFOS Foundation has awarded five grants for 2022 totaling $165,000! This is the largest single-year award in the history of the Foundation. This is a testament to the ongoing commitment from CFO Selections to give back to the communities in which it operates. Specifically, the CFOS Foundation continues to focus on investing in non-profits that support youth and families impacted by foster and kinship care.

CFOS Foundation Approves Grants to 4 Non-profit Organizations in 2021

The CFOS Foundation Board approved the grants to four non-profit organizations which are well respected in the nonprofit world for their contributions to the foster care ecosystem.

The four grantees include one repeat organization – Bridge Meadows, and three new organizations – Olympic Angels and Hope Sparks in Washington and Oregon Social Learning Center (KEEP) in Oregon.
