After 11 years as Managing Partner and 19 years total with our firm, Kevin Briscoe is transitioning to a contributor role. When Kevin accepted the Managing Partner position, he made a 10-year commitment to the firm and its partners. Having reached that milestone — and then some — he’s ready to return to what he loves most: doing the work directly alongside clients. His leadership shaped the CFO Selections family into what it is today; a firm with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, a growing presence in Colorado and Texas, and a reputation built one trusted relationship at a time.
We are pleased to introduce Brian Turner as Managing Partner of CFO Selections and its family of companies.
Brian’s path here is worth knowing. He spent more than 20 years growing with a nationally recognized consulting firm, earning every role from the inside and ultimately serving as its President and CEO. When that chapter concluded, he didn’t chase the next large enterprise opportunity. He chose to spend his time differently; leading a Vistage CEO peer group, coaching and advising business owners directly. That’s a telling choice for someone with his credentials.
Their connection predates this search. The two were members of the same Vistage CEO peer group for five years, where trust gets built in ways a hiring process rarely can. When the Operating Board completed a rigorous national search for the right leader, the best candidate turned out to be someone we already knew well.
Brian brings deep experience helping organizations grow and a genuine belief that smaller businesses and nonprofits deserve the same financial insight that large enterprises rely on.

CFO Selections remains deeply committed to our local communities, as it has been since Tom Varga founded the firm in 2002. Since 2007, a portion of annual profits has funded the CFOS Foundation, which supports youth and families impacted by foster and kinship care wherever we work. Both commitments will continue enthusiastically under Brian’s leadership across the CFO Selections family of companies, including ASP (Accounting Services & Recruiting) and Valtas Group, which guides nonprofits through leadership transitions.
