Bellevue, WA — CFO Selections is pleased to announce that the Alliance of Eastside Agencies has named CFO Selections as its Company of the Year for 2013. Award recipients in seven human services categories were chosen after being nominated by local human services providers.
“The AEA is pleased to honor members of the community who have played a significant role in supporting human services in East King County” said AEA Co-Chair David Downing, who is also associate director at Youth Eastside Services. “All of the individuals and organizations being awarded help make the Eastside a better place to live and work.” At the award luncheon, AEA noted that “CFO Selections developed a novel business model at its inception, allocating a portion of their income each and every month to their foundation, the CFOS Foundation. They are particularly interested in children’s issues, especially foster care. In addition to the grants the Foundation makes, consultants at CFO Selections (chief financial officers) and on the board of the foundation give high level, strategic, talented pro-bono consultation to the organizations they fund.”
