At CFO Selections, the employees aim to be industry leaders not only as a recruiting firm for senior-level financial talent but also as a philanthropic business.
To this end, the company started CFO Selections (CFOS) Foundation in 2007. The grant-making foundation awards free financial services and cash to nonprofits in the area, all of which benefit children. In 2009, the company and foundation jointly donated nearly $400,000 in cash and in-kind donations to nonprofits in the Puget Sound area, making it the Healthy Community Corporate Champion Award winner in the Basic Needs category. The award is given by the Puget Sound Business Journal and the Seattle Foundation.
