Former CFOS Consultant Jane Repensek Named SVP Finance and Operations at The Seattle Foundation

Bellevue, WA  — CFO Selections is pleased to announce that Jane Repensek has been named as Senior Vice President,  Finance and Operations, at The Seattle Foundation.   In her new role, Jane will oversee the Foundation’s accounting, investment, treasury management, information technology and human resources functions. She is also a member of the organization’s senior strategy team.

Jane’s experience, most recently at CFO Selections, includes a wide range of financial management positions in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Her career includes many years working in the capital markets groups at large financial institutions, including Bank of America and Washington Mutual. After leaving her position as first vice president/treasury investment management at Washington Mutual in 2008, she turned her attention to nonprofit organizations where she developed a strong interest in the opportunities to strengthen nonprofits through more sophisticated financial management and use of technology. She served as vice president of finance and administration at Special Olympics Washington and held financial positions at a nonprofit arts school and an organization working to combat human trafficking.

“After spending the last few years working with several nonprofit organizations, and leading process and performance improvement in the finance and administration functions of those organizations, I hope to use the breadth of my experience and expertise to make The Seattle Foundation an even better organization,”  Jane said.   “I look forward to overcoming the challenges created by the tough economy, complex regulations and reporting, and the volatility of the investment environment to make my contribution to the Foundation’s continued success.”

Jane serves on the board of directors of Cancer Lifeline and Mutual of Enumclaw. She holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Chicago, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University, and is a certified public accountant.
