CFO Selections has formed a long-term partnership with Laird Norton Company, one of the oldest family-owned enterprises in the United States. Laird Norton has made a minority investment in the firm to support our continued growth and mission. 

Laird Norton Company is a diversified, family-owned enterprise headquartered in Seattle. Family-owned for eight generations, they trace their origins to 1855. They take a patient, long-term approach to investing; they have no fund lifecycle, no predetermined exit timeline, and no interest in short-term financial engineering. We chose them as a partner because their values and approach mirror our own.

After 11 years as Managing Partner and 19 years total with our firm, Kevin Briscoe is transitioning to a contributor role. When Kevin accepted the Managing Partner position, he made a 10-year commitment to the firm and its partners. Having reached that milestone — and then some — he’s ready to return to what he loves most: doing the work directly alongside clients. His leadership shaped the CFO Selections family into what it is today; a firm with deep roots in the Pacific Northwest, a growing presence in Colorado and Texas, and a reputation built one trusted relationship at a time.

CFO Selections is pleased to announce that they will now be serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area with offices in both Dallas/Frisco and Fort Worth. Adding to their corporate headquarters in Bellevue, WA and satellite offices in Portland and Denver, this expansion allows them to serve a wider segment of clients across the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, and North Texas.

For the tenth year, CFO Selections has been named one of Washington’s Best Companies to Work For by Seattle Business magazine in the Small Companies category.

In its 34th annual list, Seattle Business magazine compiled the best companies to work for based on scores submitted by employees who were asked to confidentially rate their companies. The employees, including management, were asked to rate their employers on categories to measure corporate culture, such as:
